Boston area actor Ally Matteodo attended Williams College in Williamstown, MA where she majored in Psychology and English.
During her time as an undergrad Ally performed in several campus productions, and after graduation pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Boston University.
Ally completed her last semester of study at BU in a study abroad program located in Los Angeles, where she interned at FMW Casting and acted in Happily Whatever After at the Next Stage Theater.
Upon returning to Boston, Ally has enjoyed being a part of many different forms of entertainment. She has performed with Fireball Improv at Umbria Prime in the Financial District of Boston, worked on several short films and web series (The Small Gray Book, The Folklorist (New TV), Ad Men, Letters to Annabelle), served as the spokeswoman for FundReveal tutorials, and toured internationally with the original work Kultar’s Mime.
Theatrically, Ally’s prominent roles include Sofia in Uncle Vanya with 4th Wall Stage Company in Whintinsville, MA and Clara/Mrs. Pearce in Pygmalion with Flat Earth Theatre in Watertown, MA. She is certified in fight combat for film and television, and has trained with sensei Chip Perro at Perro Shotokan Karate in Grafton, MA, where she currently is a member of the Liquid Meltdown Fight and Stunt Team.
